Take home a New Orleans tradition with Leah's red beans and rice kit. This flavorful, low-fuss dish was traditionally cooked on Monday (laundry day). Homemakers could let it simmer all day while attending the laundry and have a hot meal ready by dinnertime. Although washing machines have since replaced laundry kettles, many New Orleanians still eat red beans on Monday.
This kit includes a recipe. All you need to add is bacon and/or smoked sausage, butter, bouillon cubes, and salt and pepper.
